INSTALLING PRESETS IN LIGHTROOM CLASSIC (VERSION 7.3 OR LATER) ON MAC OR WINDOWS The following instructions will guide you through the installation for Adobe Lightroom Classic version 7.3 (released mid 2018) or later which is using the .xmp file format. For all older versions please see instructions below. 1. Extract the ZIP file which you downloaded for free or after purchasing on of my premium presets 2. Start your Lightroom Classic application and switch to the Develop module. You find the button in the header section 3. Now you will see the Presets section on the left filled with some basic Presets which come bundled with Lightroom. 4. Click on the + icon on the top right of the Presets section. 5. Click Import Presets from the dropdown menu. 6. Select the Preset (.xmp) files you like to import from the „xmp - files (for current and all Lightroom versions since April 2018)” folder. 7. After importing the Presets they will now be listed in the Presets section and are ready to be used. INSTALLING PRESETS IN LIGHTROOM 4, 5, 6 AND LIGHTROOM CLASSIC (VERSION 7.2 OR OLDER) ON MAC OR WINDOWS This instruction will guide you through the Presets installation process for Lightroom 4, 5, 6 and Lightroom Classic (version 7.2 or older) which are using the .lrtemplate files instead of the newer .xmp files. 1. Extract the ZIP file which you downloaded for free or after purchasing on of my premium presets 2. Start your Lightroom Classic application, click on Preferences and open the Presets tab. 3. Click on the Show Lightroom Presets Folder button 4. Navigate to the Presets folder by double clicking the Lightroom folder and double clicking the Develop Presets folder 5. Open a second window and copy the Preset files you downloaded from the „lrtemplate - files (for Lightroom Version 4-6 and Lightroom Classic Creative Cloud)” folder into the Develop Presets folder. 6. Now you just have to restart the application and all Presets are ready to use. INSTALLING PRESETS IN LIGHTROOM CREATIVE CLOUD ON MAC OR WINDOWS This instruction will guide you through the Presets installation process for Lightroom Creative Cloud 1. Extract the desktop version ZIP file from the downloaded Presets. 2. Start the application and click on the edit icon (which looks like three horizontal bars) at the top right. 3. Now click on the Preset button which you will find on the bottom of the screen. 4. You are now in the Presets panel. 5. Click on the three dots icon at the top. 6. Select Import Presets in the dropdown menu. 7. Navigate to the ”xmp - files (for current and all Lightroom versions since April 2018)” folder. Select the ZIP file and click on Import. 8. The Presets are now imported and listed in the Presets panel so they are ready to use. INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR PHOTOSHOP (ADOBE CAMERA RAW) With the new .xmp file format it is now possible to also use the Lightroom Presets in your Photoshop application on Windows or Mac. You will just need to use the build in Adobe Camera Raw tool from Photoshop. Plese make sure to have the latest version of ACR installed (version 10.3 or newer). For the installation you need the files which are located in the ”Photoshop - Ado- be Camera Raw (ACR) Presets” folder. Extract the .ZIP file after downloading the Presets. Installing the Presets on Windows 1. Go to the following folder on your computer: ”C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings”. Leave this window open. 
 2. Open the folder with the extracted .xmp files (Presets) 
 3. Copy the whole folder and paste it into the ”Settings” folder which you left open. 
4. Now you can start Photoshop and the Presets are ready to use within the Adobe Camera Raw tool. You find them in the Presets panel of your ACR tool.
 Installing the Presets on Mac 1. Go to the following folder on your computer: ”UserName > Library > Application Support > Adobe > Camera Raw > Settings”. Leave this window open.
