TK Luminosity Mask

Tony Kuyper

Info

The TK Luminosity Mask plugin generates 16-bit Lights, Darks, and Midtones luminosity masks. They are displayed on-screen in real time. You choose the mask you want to use and then output it using the buttons at the bottom of the interface. Output options include: 1) Curves, Levels, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Sat, and Photo Filter adjustment layers with the luminosity mask as a layer mask. 2) Burning and dodging through selections of luminosity masks. 3) Loading the luminosity mask as an active selection, which can be used for multiple purposes. 4) Saving the mask as a channel on the Channels panel. 5) Applying the luminosity mask as a layer mask on a layer of your choice. Luminosity masks are based on pixel luminance. The mask's gray-scale values always match the image pixel-for-pixel and provide seamless blending with no obvious edges. The plugin has extensive tooltips and is translated into six languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Chinese.
