Name selected instances based on position (x/y), relative position within the bounds of the selected instances or depth. Added feature to offset start number or reverse the order of instances.

Simply select the stage instances (sprites and movie clips) you want to name, enter the format for naming the instances (i.e. ”instance_##_mc”), and select how you want the order calculated.

Non-instances (i.e. raw graphics or items that are not instances of library items) will be skipped.

Name format will pad the name based on the number of # symbols in the name format string. If no # symbols are in the name format string, the instance number will be appended to the end of the name.

On Mac, use ZXP Installer or Anastasiy's Extension Manager to install.

Current settings will be stored if installed as current user or if the permissions for the settings.txt file within the extension folder are set to read/write. See ”Where to find it” for installation locations.
