Cinegy's hyper-parallel processing Daniel2 video codec massively accelerates ultra-high resolution cinema and post-production. It harnesses the power of today's highly scalable multi-CPU systems or the abundant computing power of the hundreds or thousands of compute cores found in *NVIDIA graphics cards.
The result is unparalleled UHD, 4K, 8K or even higher resolution throughput, many times faster than what can be achieved with classic production or mezzanine codecs - of course while maintaining highest quality. Daniel2 is using the professional MXF OP1A container format which supports edit-while-recording workflows. Daniel2's efficient Alpha channel support makes it a popular choice for complex post-production workflows.
Requirements: Adobe Premiere Creative Cloud running on MacOS (HighSierra 64bit or newer) with at least 16GB DRAM for 8K export.
*CPU only for now. No NVIDIA GPU support until there are official drivers for Mac.
