How to install presets for Lightroom Classic (v.7.3 and later) and Photoshop ACR
***************************************************************

1. OPEN THE .ZIP FILE
After purchasing your product you can download it to your computer ( see how to download ) as a zipped file.
Place the .zip file on your desktop or anywhere you like, and open the .zip file.
To do so press right click on the .zip file and click open (for windows this can be the same, or use your favourite zip program to unzip the file)


2. SELECT THE PRESETS (.xmp) FOLDER
Now in addition to the .zip file you should see another folder, open the new folder.
On windows this is the same.
You'll see three folder Select the Presets (.xmp) folder

3. COPY PRESETS (.xmp) FOLDER
Copy ”Presets (.xmp)” folder. To do so press the right click on the select folder and choose copy.


4. OPEN LIBRARY FOLDER
Mac users: Go to Users>YOUR NAME>Library or in alternative go to the ”Go” Menu at the top, hold down ”Alt” or ”Option” and the ”Library” sub-menu should appear. Click on this.

5. PAST ”PRESETS (.xmp)” IN ”SETTINGS” FOLDER Past
Opened library folder go to ”Application Support” -> ”Adobe” -> ”Camera Raw” -> select ”Settings”, press the right click on the select folder and choose Past to copy in ”Presets (xmp)” folder.

Pc users: Go to the folder Users > YOUR USER NAME > ”AppData” > Roaming > Adobe > CameraRaw > select ”Settings”, press the right click on the select folder and choose Past to copy in ”Presets (xmp)” folder
Important:
If you cannot see the ”AppData” folder, do the following:

1 Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalisation, and then clicking Folder Options.

2 Click the View tab.

3 Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then click OK

6. CLOSE AND RE-START PHOTOSHOP AND LIGHTROOM CLASSIC

7. OPEN LIGHTROOM AND CHECK YOUR PRESETS
This is the simple and fast manual method to install presets in Photoshop Camera Raw and Lightroom simultaneously.
If you correctly performed the steps described above presets are installed correctly.
To verify open Lightroom import an image and select the ”Develop” folder on the top. On the left, click on ”Presets”, the drop-down menu will open and lower you will see the presets list.

8. OPEN PHOTOSHOP AND CHECK YOUR PRESETS
Do the same for Camera Raw open Photoshop, open an image and select Filter> ”Camera Raw Filter” at the top on the toolbar. Select presets on the camera raw and toolbar, the pop-up menu with the Presets will appear at the bottom

4a. OPEN LIGHTROOM AND SELECT PREFERENCES
Open Lightroom, and go to: If you have a MAC: Lightroom > Preferences.
If you have a PC: Edit > Preferences. Click Preferences.

5a. THIS WILL OPEN A NEW WINDOWS. CLICK ”PRESETS” SECTION AT TOP AND CHOOSE ”SHOW LIGHTROOM DEVELOP PRESETS”

6a. PAST ”PRESETS (.xmp) IN ”SETTINGS” FOLDER
On this new new window go to ”Camera Raw” folder > select ”Settings”. To do so press the right click on the select folder and choose Past to copy in ”Presets (xmp)” folder.

7a. CLOSE AND RE-START LIGHTROOM
If you correctly performed the steps described above presets are installed correctly.

Copy ”Presets (.irtemplate)” folder. To do so press the right click on the select folder and choose copy.

4. OPEN LIGHTROOM AND SELECT PREFERENCES
Open Lightroom, and go to: If you have a MAC: Lightroom > Preferences. If you have a PC: Edit > Preferences. Click Preferences.

5. CLICK THE ”PRESETS” SECTION AT TOP AND CHOOSE ”SHOW LIGHTROOM PRESETS” FOLDER
You will see a new window. It should be very similar to this one click the ”Presets” section at top and choose ”Show Other Lightroom Presets” folder (You will see a tab labeled ”store presets with this catalog” on the left . Make sure this is unchecked).

6. PAST ”PRESETS (.irtemplate)” IN ”DEVELOP PRESETS” FOLDER
On this new window go to ”Lightroom” folder > select ”Develop Presets”. To do so press the right click on the select folder and choose Past to copy in ”Presets (.irt template)” folder. You will see a folder called ”user presets”. Very important do not install your presets in the ”user presets” folder or in the other. Install in ”Develop Presets” folder

7. CLOSE AND RE-START LIGHTROOM CLOSE AND RE-START LIGHTROOM CLASSIC

8. OPEN LIGHTROOM AND CHECK YOUR PRESETS
