The simplest way to import content from WordPress or any CMS to Adobe InDesign.

With this InDesign add-on, you can turn any WordPress post into an InDesign article in a one-click process. This will allow you to implement Digital-First Strategy in your organization.

The add-on is ready to connect to your MySQL database or SQL Server. More databases will be coming soon.

STEP 1 - Tag page items in InDesign.
Open the Tags panel and create your tags (title, text, image, and caption). Next, select a frame or text frame, and then click a tag in the Tags panel. Finally, open the InDesign Articles Panel, select all the article's frames and text frames, and create a new article.

STEP 2 - Create a new database connection.
Enter a name and the connection data: user, password, database, and server. If your database server runs in a non-standard port, then add it.
The add-on auto-fill all other fields. Ready to use with WordPress, but you are free to change it to use with your CMS.

STEP 3 - Import your contents to InDesign.
Load your contents list and select one. Then select a frame added to an InDesign article and click the import button.

- Import your contents without tagging page items. Three new ways to work:
 1) Select the main frames of an article (title, text, image, and caption) and then click the Import button.
 2) If these frames are grouped, you can select the group and then click Import.
 3) If these frames have been added to an article, you can select any frame and then click Import.
- Before import, you can check the option "Add the text to a single text frame" to fill out the text frame appending a set of posts. The typical column of short stories, for example.

- Added post search.
