Most of these presets work well with darker images, but equally they can be used on light images as each type of photo will produce a different look. Your download will be in a zipped format. Once you have downloaded your files go to your downloads folder (normally located on your C Drive) and unzip or extract the file MDV SOFT MATTE TONES.zip

Open Lightroom and go to Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Lightroom > Preferences (Mac). Click the Presets tab & then click on the 'SHOW LIGHTROOM PRESETS FOLDER'. This takes you to the folder where Lightroom stores all your presets. A new window will open, in this window click 'DEVELOP PRESETS'. Copy the unzipped folder into the 'DEVELOP PRESETS' folder. Close Lightroom & re-start it so your presets will show up. When you re-start Lightroom you will see your presets in the 'PRESETS' folder.
