u can find the Envelopments Extension in Illustrator under the top menu Window > Extensions > Envelopments Extension

You should now see a new tool panel open for the Envelopments Extension. After it initially loads, you'll see a login screen to enter your credentials. Use your Envelopments ID and password here to login.


TROUBLESHOOTING:

If you do not see a pop-up notification, open the Creative Cloud Desktop application and check your Activity Stream by clicking on the Home tab. You should see a notice stating ”You installed the Add-on Envelopments Extension”.

If you see a message stating, ”The Add-on Envelopments Extension failed to install...” see the following Adobe support page for more details regarding the installation error message: https://helpx.adobe.com/extension-manager/using/extension-manager-error-code-reference.html

If you continue having trouble installing the extension, see the following support resources from Adobe: https://www.adobeexchange.com/resources/19 To prevent any issues with installation, please ensure that all Adobe programs are closed before you begin the installation process.

The Envelopments Extension is packaged in an Adobe ZXP file and is available to install through the Adobe Add-ons website here.

Once in the Adobe Add-ons portal login with the Adobe ID tied to your Adobe Illustrator installation and Creative Cloud subscription.

Now click the Install button and the Envelopments Extension will automatically install onto your system. Keep an eye out for notifications from the Adobe Creative Desktop Application.

You should receive a pop-up notification from the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application asking permission to install the Envelopments Extension. Click the pop-up notification to proceed with the installation. It will notify you once more when installation has been completed.
