The Spiral Sandbox plug-in gives the user exact control over all parameters of a spiral constructed from copies of the pattern the user selected in the fill dialog box. The user interface is intuitive yet very flexible. The preview mirrors the user's selection that will be filled with the spiral, showing an exact rendition of the final fill when fully zoomed out. The quickly responding preview helps the sandbox player visualize the design-in-process.

Users can make “conventional” spirals easily, while it is not difficult to construct elaborate spiral constructions, even with multiple layers incorporating several different patterns (specific details are given in the documentation).

The plug-in runs under Photoshop CC 2014.

To activate it, make a selection in a document, choose Edit>Fill, and in the panel select your pattern, choose the Scripts option and click on Spiral Sandbox in the script list..

The corresponding trial version is completely functional, but will not produce a fill in your selection.

The three non-text files should be located in the \Presets\Deco folder under the Photoshop version that you are using. You will have to restart Photoshop for the script to show up in your script list. And the first time you run it, you should click on the CCW button once. After that, you should be good forever!
