Our Magento plug-in supports two integration models, Direct with Client-Side Encryption (CSE) and Hosted, dependent on your PCI-DSS compliance level.
With the Direct integration with CSE, customers will enter their payment information directly on the merchant site. This model requires higher PCI DSS compliance compared to Hosted and meets the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) A-EP level. Using Client-Side Encryption, this allows Worldpay to encrypt the sensitive data so that it never passes through merchant or Magento servers.
The Hosted integration model meets the SAQ A level. Worldpay is entirely responsible for the collection, storage and processing of cardholder data. This helps to reduce your costs by removing the need for you to implement the security measures required to gain and maintain full PCI DSS compliance.
With both our Direct and Hosted integrations, customer payment information can be tokenized for future and recurring payments. This can simply be added and enabled from the Admin user interface. In this case, a Worldpay token will be saved with the last four digits of the card used.

Please note that Worldpay is not a PCI DSS assessor - you must have your own level of PCI DSS compliance assessed independently, in order to confirm which integration method is suitable for your business. Your particular level of compliance may differ depending on your own unique setup, so we recommend consulting a QSA to make sure you’re set up in the right way to meet your desired PCI DSS level.
